In a previous collaborative work, we showed that engineered bioactivated silk nanofibers support and enhance neurons survival and regrowth.
Engineering bioactivated silk nanofibers is challenging. We develop 3D printing methods to produce different layouts and arrays of fibers to study neuroprotection and neuroregeneration in vitro and in vivo.
